Chani Falls to Lisicki in China Open
Sunday, September 29, 2013 – Chani fell in the first round of the China Open in Beijing, China, on Sunday in one of the feature night matches on the National Tennis Stadium Court. The 13-seed, Sabine Lisicki from Germany, beat Chani 6-3 6-2.
Chani and Kimiko Date-Krumm of Japan will be in action in the doubles draw tomorrow in the third match after 12:30pm (12:30am EST) on Court 4. They take on the eighth-seeded and recently crowned champions of the Toray Pan Pacic Open, Cara Black (ZIM) and Sania Mirza (IND).

Saturday, September 28, 2013 – Chani continued her run at the China Open in Beijing by securing a victory of Lesia Tsurenko 6-4 6-4. She now play 13-seed, Sabine Lisicki of Germany, in the first round of the main draw.

Friday, September 27, 2013 – Chani started her China Open campaign with a 6-3 6-3 win over Petra Matic in the first round of qualifying. She now will face Lesia Tsurenko of Ukraine.
