Chani Faces Lisicki in Osaka, Japan
Monday, October 7, 2013 – Chani opened up her campaign in the HP Japan Women’s Open Tennis event in the doubles draw. Her and doubles partner, Kimiko Date-Krumm, took on number one seeds, Raquel Kops-Jones and Abigail Spears and fell 6-3 6-4.
Chani moves on to the singles event now and is scheduled to play second-seeded Sabine Lisicki in the first round on Centre Court on Tuesday.
Chani Beaten in China Open Doubles
Monday, September 30, 2013 – Chani and Kimiko Date-Krumm were beaten by eighth seeds, Cara Black and Sania Mirza, 6-3 6-3 in the opening round of the doubles draw in the China Open in Beijing.
